Watch: Find your way around the edit suite
0:49. Understand sessions, the sequence timeline and the take editor.
Platform admins only. This feature is still in admin testing. Workspace ownership alone does not grant access.
The edit suite is currently restricted to platform admins. An existing test sequence and its unprepared take are inspected. No timeline edit, transcript request, export or publication is submitted.
Screen captures from 26 October 2026. Narration is AI-generated using OpenAI's Marin voice. Captions are included in the picture; an optional English caption track is also available.

Read the transcript: Find your way around the edit suite
The edit suite is currently a platform-admin feature. Open a saved session and choose its sequence. A session keeps related takes together. Sequence edits let you build a programme while preserving the original recordings.
The sequence view combines the media pool, programme monitor and linked video and audio tracks. Add takes from the media pool, then move or trim them on the timeline. Review playback, save the timeline and use Export session when the edit is ready.
The take editor works inside an individual take. Prepare transcript creates timed speech for editing; cutting a passage affects that interval across the recording. The test take shown has no transcript yet. No edit, transcription or export is started in this guide.
How it works
Use the sequence to arrange the programme and the take editor to work inside an individual recording. Review the saved edit before exporting.
- 01
Open the session
Choose a saved recording from the edit suite and open its sequence. - 02
Arrange the sequence
Use the media pool and linked picture and sound tracks to place, move and trim takes. - 03
Review an individual take
Use the take editor to prepare a transcript and inspect timed speech before cutting passages. - 04
Review the export
Save the edit, watch it through and export when it is ready. Exporting and publishing are separate steps.
What to know
- Platform-admin access is required.
- A transcript cut affects the selected time interval across the recording, including overlapping speech.
- Original recordings remain separate from the edit. Unsaved changes need to be saved before you leave.
