0:48. Prepare the session and understand the checks before recording.

Platform admins only. This feature is still in admin testing. Workspace ownership alone does not grant access.

Studio is currently restricted to platform admins. An example session title and co-host option are shown without creating a room. Joining, recording and upload completion are explained, not demonstrated.

Studio is currently a platform-admin feature. Open Studio, choose the podcast show and give the session a clear title. Create studio makes the room and participant invitations. This example stops before creating a room.

Choose whether to include a co-host. The room supports up to three people in total. Give each person their own invitation and check the role before sharing it. A co-host can help control recording; guest access is specific to the invited room.

Use desktop Chrome or Edge, check the camera and microphone, and wear headphones. After recording, keep every participant's tab open until their original has finished uploading. Local recording and upload completion are separate checks. Review the finished take in the edit suite.

How it works

Studio keeps each participant’s original recording alongside the session’s takes, ready for assembly and editing after recording.

  1. 01

    Choose the show and session

Open Studio, select the podcast show and give the session a clear title.
  2. 02

    Invite the participants

Create the room and use a separate invitation for each person. Check guest and co-host roles before sharing.
  3. 03

    Check the equipment

Use desktop Chrome or Edge, check camera and microphone permissions and wear headphones.
  4. 04

    Wait for the uploads

After recording, leave each participant’s tab open until its originals have finished uploading, then review the take in the edit suite.

What to know

  • Platform-admin access is required. Being a workspace owner is not enough.
  • A room supports up to three people and recordings of up to two hours.
  • Recording and uploading are separate processes. An unfinished upload needs attention before a participant leaves.
