Podcast publishing

Prepare your podcast release

Podcast publishing is currently available to platform admins. Set up a show feed, review finished episodes and choose when they become available.

Watch: Prepare a podcast feed and episode release

0:49. Find show settings, distribution setup and episode scheduling.

Platform admins only. This feature is still in admin testing. Workspace ownership alone does not grant access.

Podcast publishing is currently restricted to platform admins. Setup controls are shown without saving a feed, importing episodes or scheduling a release. Private feed addresses, contact details and existing episode information are excluded.

Screen captures from 26 October 2026. Narration is AI-generated using OpenAI's Marin voice. Captions are included in the picture; an optional English caption track is also available.

Read the transcript: Prepare a podcast feed and episode release

Podcast publishing is currently a platform-admin feature. Open Podcasts and select the show. Complete the description, author, directory contact and square artwork. Check any owner email carefully because it can appear in the public RSS feed.

The show's RSS feed distributes audio to services such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Amazon Music. Follow each service's submission process, or its migration steps for an existing show. A saved directory status is your record, not proof of approval.

Choose a finished episode and check its title, description, audio and release time. Full-video publishing to YouTube has separate channel and playlist settings. Scheduling an episode is different from scheduling social clips. This guide stops before changing a feed or release.

How it works

Show details define the public feed. Episode settings control individual releases, while Connections records each directory’s setup and the full-video destination.

  1. 01

    Complete the show details

Open Podcasts and use Details for the description, author, artwork, language and directory contact.
  2. 02

    Check distribution

Use Connections for Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music and YouTube setup. A saved directory status records your own progress.
  3. 03

    Review the episode

Check the title, description, audio, video and release time in My episodes.
  4. 04

    Schedule deliberately

Confirm the reviewed episode and its destinations before scheduling. A full episode release is separate from a social clip campaign.

What to know

  • Platform-admin access is required.
  • The owner email may be included in the public RSS feed.
  • Audio directories collect releases from the feed on their own schedules. Their approval and listening figures are managed by each service.
  • Moving an existing show needs a migration that preserves its episodes and subscribers. Do not submit a duplicate show feed.
